What is Brew Me A Coffee?
Brew Me A Coffee is an AI-powered lead discovery tool. It monitors Reddit, Hacker News, and GitHub Discussions around the clock and surfaces posts where real people are looking for a product like yours — so you can respond while the conversation is still warm.
Which platforms do you monitor?
We currently monitor Reddit (subreddits you choose), Hacker News (Ask HN, Show HN, and comments), and GitHub Discussions. More sources are on the roadmap.
How does the AI scoring work?
Each candidate post is scored on three dimensions: relevance (does this match my product?), intent (is this person looking to buy or switch?), and urgency (are they deciding now?). These combine into a 0–100 final score and a Hot / Warm / Cold tier. Every lead also comes with a plain-English explanation of why it scored the way it did.
How often does it scan?
- Free — 4 scans per day (every 6 hours)
- Pro — 12 scans per day (every 2 hours)
- Ultimate — 24 scans per day (every hour)
What is a 'search query'?
Search queries are the keywords and intent phrases we use to filter posts before the AI sees them — things like 'openai alternative', 'affordable CRM', or 'tired of Slack'. The prefilter is fast and cheap; it narrows tens of thousands of posts down to a shortlist that the AI then scores properly.
Will Brew Me A Coffee get my Reddit account banned?
No. We use official APIs and never post on your behalf. We read public content only. You're not logged in as yourself — we use our own read-only credentials. The suggested replies are drafts for you to personalise and post yourself.
How is my data used?
Your product descriptions and keywords are used only to run scans for you. We don't share your data with other customers, sell it to third parties, or use it to train AI models. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. Cancel any time from Dashboard → Billing. You keep access until the end of your current billing period, then your account reverts to the Free plan automatically. No penalty, no friction.
Do you offer refunds?
We don't offer refunds on completed billing periods. If a technical error caused a double-charge, email us at chirantan@lexoratechnologies.com within 7 days and we'll sort it out.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
Your account, products, and leads move to the Free plan. Lead history older than 7 days is eventually pruned according to the Free plan's retention window, but your configuration is preserved. You can upgrade again at any time and your history picks back up.
Can I bring my own AI model?
Yes. Brew Me A Coffee supports any OpenAI-compatible API endpoint. Set the AI_BASE_URL, AI_API_KEY, and AI_MODEL environment variables to point at your preferred provider — Groq, Ollama, Together, or anything else.
What are Opportunity Categories?
On the Ultimate plan, each lead is classified into one of five categories: Customers (people looking to buy), Clients (service/freelance engagements), Hiring (someone building a team), Partnerships (integration or co-marketing opportunities), and Investments (investors exploring your space). This lets you route leads to the right person on your team instantly.
